Job Description
5K Excavating is looking for a motivated skilled equipment operator to join their company. This individual will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to help with excavation, finish grades and other related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavator, loaders, skid loader.
- Preform routine maintenance on equipment and keep machines in good working order.
- Read and interpret construction plans to insure accurate and precise excavation.
- Create a safe work environment by following all safety regulations and protocols.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Experience in operating heavy equipment in a construction or excavating setting
Experience in residential construction preferred. Backfill, dig, finish grade
Valid drivers license with a clean record
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Physical strength and stamina to preform the duties of the job
Communication skills
CDL not required but a plus
