Windom Area Health is seeking a full-time Health Information Management (HIM) Clerk. Duties include release of information, preparing/scanning charts, completing birth records, performing chart quality reviews and providing department administrative support. The HIM Clerk must demonstrate strong attention to detail, solid organizational and communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Prior experience in health information management, familiarity with EHR systems, and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred. This (.8-.9 FTE) position will be weekday hours, 8am - 4:30pm.
