Position Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing a variety of HR-related duties on a professional level. This role works closely with the management team, ensuring the execution of company HR strategies and operations. The Human Resources Generalist will manage tasks in the following functional areas: recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including job descriptions, job postings, applicant sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new hires.
    • Collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for open jobs.
    • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Continuously update and audit the HRIS system.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, providing guidance on company policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and management to foster a positive work environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Administer and explain benefits programs to employees, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
  • Manage open enrollment processes and benefits changes throughout the year.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees and management.
    • Develop and deliver HR-related training sessions, such as harassment prevention, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Ensure policies are communicated effectively to employees and management. Develop, implement and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Process weekly payroll through HRIS.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field with HR emphasis.
  • 3 years of progressive relevant HR experience preferred; manufacturing experience a plus.
  • HR Certification preferred.
  • Experience using ADP is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn and improve the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.

Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for a bonus.
