Human Resource Manager

Woltman Group, PLLC is looking for an experienced professional to lead human resources for the firm.  This is a fast growing CPA firm and we are looking for an energetic individual who can help lead in the administration of the organization.

Expectation:

  • Manage the administration of human resources-related tasks including entering, processing, and tracking new hires, status changes, and terminations in ADP and department tracking systems, and updating various employee data in ADP
  • Partner with the Firm Administrator and Managing Partner to provide guidance on employee relations, questions, disciplinary process, and clarification and enforcement of policies, procedures, practices, and systems.
  • Assist with development, writing and implementation of new policies by promoting HR process standardization and process improvement 
  • Manage the FMLA and leave of absence process for all staff, including coordination with manager.
  • Maintain employee personnel files, conducting regular file audits to ensure compliance with employment laws, agency policies, regulations, and best practices.
  • Manage compliance with the workers compensation program, labor law postings, ACA, etc.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for all office staff, including collaborating with managers and the IT department
  • Maintain relationships with recruiters and college administration for recruiting students.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding policy interpretation, benefit questions, systems access issues, grievances, etc.
  • Lead in employee annual salary review, employee retention and promotion
  • Oversight and cross training on firm payroll processing completed by HR Assistant.
  • Oversight of benefit administration includes open enrollment, coordination with outside vendors, and payroll benefit reconciliation.
  • Manages department team members.
  • Ability to collaborate with finance department.
  • Ability to be hands-on completing administrative tasks, while also serving as a leader in the office.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Strong ability to manage and pivot through multiple duties and process information from multiple sources in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work and communicate professionally with all levels of employees, owners, vendors, and other external customers.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organization, time management, problem solving, analytical, and influential skills.
  • Advanced computer skills required, including MS Office products.

Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of experience in human resources, including employee relations, performance management, benefits, and employment and labor law
  • 2 or more years of experience in employee relations
  • Bachelor’s degree with Human Resources concentration preferred
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus, as are other HRIS system experiences
  • Experience with multi-state payroll
  • Ability to remain neutral in situations, as well as maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Be an advocate and liaison for all staff

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00 PM
  • Position requires flexibility to serve our employees, managers, and clients, as needed, outside of office hours.
