The South Dakota Department of Health, Division of Family & Community Health's Office of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion is seeking an energetic and passionate individual to join the team as the Immunization Registry Coordinator.
The Immunization Registry Coordinator will manage the South Dakota Immunization Information System (SDIIS), a statewide immunization database, that maintains comprehensive immunization histories of all patients entered in the database. Duties include, but are not limited to, maintenance of the immunization registry including account management, vaccine product information, and customer service related to registry questions or functionality. The Immunization Registry Coordinator will closely collaborate with internal and external partners, including healthcare facilities and clinicians, public health programs, pharmacies, and other entities enrolled for SDIIS usage. The position requires strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills. This position may require occasional statewide and national travel.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A bachelor's degree in a health-related field such as health promotion, public health, or data science - preferred.
Knowledge of:
