Sentinel Federal Credit Union is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and member-focused Indirect Lending Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for our dealership partners while providing outstanding service to members throughout the indirect lending process. In this role, you'll manage loan funding, maintain strong dealership relationships, ensure documentation is accurate and compliant, and play an important role in the continued success of our indirect lending program.

Pay Range

  • $43,700.00-$70,000.00/yearly base pay

  • Pay range may be negotiable for highly qualified candidates

  • Standard bonus and incentive eligibility

What You'll Do

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Credit Union's indirect lending program, serving as the primary contact for dealership partners.
  • Review, verify, and fund indirect loan applications while ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local dealerships through regular communication, dealership visits, meetings, and networking opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to dealer and internal inquiries, resolve funding issues, and provide exceptional service throughout the lending process.
  • Monitor loan documentation and maintain accurate records while performing quality control and file maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with the Consumer Lending Manager, CRIF, and other internal teams to strengthen dealership partnerships and support program growth.
  • Cross-sell Credit Union loan and deposit products while providing outstanding service to members and dealership partners.
  • Recommend improvements to processes, participate in special projects, and help identify opportunities to expand the indirect lending program.
  • Stay current on lending regulations, compliance requirements, and Credit Union policies while protecting confidential member information.

Who You Are

  • At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • One year of lending, financial services, customer service, or related experience required.
  • Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with members, dealerships, and internal teams.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of consumer lending practices and regulations or the ability to quickly develop that knowledge.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
