As an ICS Security Engineer at Direct Companies, you’ll play a key role in helping clients secure their industrial environments. From identifying threats and analyzing risks to developing practical security programs, you’ll work across teams to improve visibility, reduce vulnerabilities, and support long-term safety and reliability.

What We're Looking for in a Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience with industrial control systems, protocols, and architectures (e.g., Purdue Model).
Familiarity with OT security frameworks like IEC 62443 and NIST 800-82.
Strong ability to analyze technical risks and develop practical solutions.
Clear communicator who can translate technical details into business impacts.
Ability to work across teams and collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership.
A passion for protecting critical infrastructure and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor industrial networks and identify assets, threats, and anomalies.
Build visibility into ICS environments using passive tools and communication mapping.
Analyze network architecture and recommend segmentation improvements.
Translate findings into risk-based recommendations and OT security programs.
Guide teams on remediation planning and priority actions.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align security efforts with business goals.
Support sales with technical insights and solution design during proposals.

Success of security program adoption and improvement initiatives.
