Carlson & Stewart Refrigeration is seeking a hands-on Industrial Operations Manager to lead and support our field teams on industrial construction projects. This leadership role is critical to ensuring smooth field operations, crew management, safety compliance, and successful project execution.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise job superintendents, welders, and fitters.
- Hire, train, and schedule field staff to meet project demands.
- Ensure crews have necessary tools, equipment, and training.
- Oversee tool management, repairs, replacements, and budget forecasting.
- Maintain safety compliance and ensure certification renewals.
- Monitor field staffing levels, employee training, and site safety.
- Lead daily personnel matters and support workforce development.
- Coordinate closely with job managers and Director of Industrial Operations.
- Travel to work sites
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in industrial construction, refrigeration, or mechanical trades.
- Proven leadership in managing field staff or crews (3-5 years of management experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and field compliance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel in the Midwest.
