LifeScape is seeking a hard-working individual to join our IT team! The Information Security Analyst assists in creating a sound system to prevent security breaches. We are looking for a well-rounded person who is versed in Microsoft, assisting users with hardware and software, and great knowledge of security systems and firewalls.

Some of the daily tasks that you will encounter include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Monitor the organization’s computers, firewalls, and networks for security breaches

• Uses data encryption, firewalls, and other appropriate security tools and applications to conceal and protect transfers of confidential digital information

• Develop security standards and best practices for computers, firewalls, and network.

• Assist the HIPAA Security Officer in the support and preparation of IT-related risk assessments, audits, and tests

• Research the latest information technology (IT) security trends

• Assist users with a variety of hardware and software issues daily

• Assists all staff with data backup and data restoration processes.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent years of experience) preferred. Minimum 3 years’ professional experience working in network, infrastructure, security, or vulnerability analysis roles.
