IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN

Madison Lawn & Landscape is seeking to add a motivated and driven individual to our irrigation team. This position presents a great opportunity to help build and expand your professional career as we continue to grow.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Diagnose and repair residential and commercial sprinkler systems with precision and expertise.
  • Conduct system start-ups, audits, and winterizations to ensure optimal performance year-round.
  • Maintain detailed daily job logs to track progress and ensure accountability.
  • Follow a well-organized daily calendar for efficient routing and task management.
  • Maintain regular communication with your manager to provide updates on projects.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and top-notch workmanship.
  • Keep your work vehicle organized and stocked to ensure readiness for any task.

How to Be Successful:

  • Proven Experience: Whether you've spent two years in irrigation or show exceptional promise, your ability to tackle challenges head-on sets you apart.
  • Mobility and Adaptability: With a valid driver’s license and a good record, you're always ready to navigate new projects and deliver top-notch service on the go.
  • Customer-Oriented Mindset: You understand the importance of meeting customer needs. Effective communication results in positive customer experiences. 
  • Problem-Solving: You thrive in dynamic environments, quickly identifying issues and implementing effective solutions, all while managing time and tasks with ease.

Hours & Compensation 

  • Regular hours: 40 hr/ week Monday - Friday. Overtime hours available and, at times, may be required.
  • $18-$22/hour depending on experience 
  • Position type: Seasonal 
  • Vacation Days (5)

COMPENSATION RATE: Starting rates $22 to $25 an hour for Snow Removal. Lawn Care Services starting rates are $14 to $20. Higher rates available based upon experience and ability to operate equipment.
