Job Description
Mid Northern Electric Inc is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Aberdeen, South Dakota. We are looking for a skilled electrician who can perform quality electrical work, troubleshoot problems, and contribute to the successful completion of electrical projects.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with other electricians and apprentices.

Schedule & Location

What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Install conduit, panels, circuits, fixtures, and related electrical components.
- Diagnose electrical problems and determine appropriate repairs or corrective actions.
- Perform electrical work in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete assigned projects.
- Provide guidance and hands-on assistance to apprentice electricians when needed.
- Maintain safe, organized, and productive work areas.
What We're Looking For
- Journeyman-level electrical experience and demonstrated technical skills.
- Ability to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of electrical codes, tools, and safe work practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Dependability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Applicable electrical licensing or credentials as required for the work performed.
