Journeyman Service Electrician - Sioux Falls, SD
SV Electric, Inc., a leading electrical contracting company serving the Sioux Falls area, is seeking a motivated and experienced Journeyman Service Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyman Service Electrician at SV Electric, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional electrical services to our residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of electrical installation, repair, and maintenance services in residential and commercial settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using standard testing equipment and techniques.
- Install, upgrade, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, outlets, and switches.
- Collaborate with our team to develop effective solutions and resolve technical problems efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and implement necessary repair or replacement.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, services provided, and completed work orders.
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client's concerns and inquiries professionally and promptly.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of South Dakota.
- Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Solid understanding of electrical theory and applications, including electrical calculations and circuitry.
- Experience in electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
