Job Description

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is hiring a Diesel Tech Lead. We are looking for qualified applicants who can have a safety first mindset, work independently, and recognize/resolve facility and vehicle maintenance problems.

Shift: Monday - Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)

Pay: $28.00/hr-$32.00/hr - Depending on Experience

What you can expect a typical day to look like:

  • Perform vehicle and powered equipment inspections on a regular basis
  • Schedule repairs and services with vendors as needed
  • Maintain accurate vehicle compliance files in an organized manner
  • Create a positive and productive work atmosphere by communicating and behaving in a professional and team-like manner with other employees and customers

What you will need to succeed on the job:

  • Prior experience in the transportation industry preferred
  • Ability to administer a vehicle maintenance schedule
  • College education in mechanics or working knowledge of diesel trucks or tractor trailers preferred
