Join our team as a Lead Registered Nurse! Southeastern Directions for Life is one of 11 Community Mental Health Centers in South Dakota dedicated to providing quality professional services to keep our individuals, families, schools, workplaces, and communities emotionally strong and healthy. Our mission is "empowering people to discover their directions for life in a changing world." We serve children, adults, and families in the Minnehaha, Lincoln, McCook, and Turner Counties.
This position is Monday through Friday 8am-4pm, with certain on call duties. No night or weekend shifts!
Cayman Court is a 24 bed assisted living facility for individuals diagnosed with a SMI.
JOB SUMMARY: This member of the multidisciplinary team is responsible for overseeing the nursing and medical services, conducting assessments, assessing physical health, making referrals, providing medication management and administration, and a wide range of nursing treatment for clients. This position is an active member of the team and provides education and support to other staff as needed within the scope of nursing. Flexibility required within emergency situations.
QUALIFICATIONS: A BSN in nursing, with an active SD Nursing License is required. 1-3 years of applicable experience is preferred. Experience with SMI patients preferred. Must be able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check.
