Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Leasing Manager to lead leasing efforts and maximize occupancy across our apartment communities. This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a proven track record of converting prospects into residents.

The successful candidate will take ownership of leasing performance, resident retention, lead management, and marketing effectiveness while delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the leasing journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive leasing activity and maintain high occupancy levels across assigned properties.
  • Manage prospect inquiries, conduct property tours, and convert leads into signed leases.
  • Develop and execute leasing strategies to improve occupancy and resident retention.
  • Monitor leasing performance metrics and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects through calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective and current residents.
  • Prepare lease agreements, renewals, and related documentation.
  • Analyze advertising and marketing effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate resident outreach initiatives and retention programs.
  • Partner with property management and maintenance teams to ensure a positive resident experience.
  • Maintain accurate records within property management software and CRM systems.
  • Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and resident concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations.

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of property management, leasing, multifamily housing, or related sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and maintaining occupancy goals.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple prospects, leads, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with leasing, CRM, or property management software.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

  • Experience leasing challenging or value-add properties.
  • Experience creating and implementing leasing and retention strategies.
  • Experience with AppFolio, Yardi, MRI, or similar property management platforms.
  • College coursework or degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field.
