Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or LPC-MH), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) who is passionate about providing exceptional care and advancing the field of mental health. The ideal candidate brings both clinical skill and intellectual curiosity, with interest in either general mental health or our specialized areas of practice.
Kimberly Keiser & Associates, LLC is a dynamic, progressive mental health clinic specializing in counseling, psychotherapy, trauma therapy, and research-based sex and relationship therapy. In addition to comprehensive mental health services, our clinic offers regional expertise in sexual, relational, and somatic health.
Our practice provides a broad spectrum of evidence-based interventions to treat:
- General mental health counseling
- Adult individuals and couples
- Trauma recovery, including sexual abuse
- LGBTQIA+ support and advocacy
- Out-of-control sexual behavior (OCSB) and sexual addiction
- Infidelity and relational repair
- Somatic therapy and mind–body integration
- Sexual dysfunctions and sexual pain disorders
We are also a regional leader in group psychotherapy, offering diverse groups to help clients strengthen interpersonal, communication, and attachment skills.

Qualifications
- Licensed in South Dakota as Ph.D., Psy.D., LPC, LPC-MH, or LMFT (or eligibility for licensure)
- Degree completion and supervision requirements met; two+ years post-degree experience preferred but not required
- Training or willingness to train in:
- Gottman Method Couples Therapy
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Trauma-focused therapies (e.g., EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Polyvagal Theory)
- Experience with developmental trauma, PTSD, and complex clinical presentations
- Sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and welcoming
Knowledge, Skills & Professional Traits
- Strong commitment to personal and professional development
- Proficiency in evidence-based counseling/psychotherapy methods
- Excellent communication (oral and written)
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and supportive

- Ability to maintain detailed, accurate client records
