Kimberly Keiser & Associates, LLC is a dynamic mental health clinic providing counseling, psychotherapy, trauma therapy, and research-based sex and relationship therapy. Our clinic provides general mental health counseling and regional expertise in sexual and relational health. With a foundation in evidence-based theory and a broach spectrum of interventions utilized to treat general mental health concerns, our relationship and sexual health specialty practice focuses on treating: adult individuals and couples, male and female sexual dysfunctions, sexual abuse recovery, LGBTQI advocacy and support, out of control sexual behavior (OCSB) and sexual addiction, sexual offending, sexual pain disorders, infidelity recovery, infertility counseling and sexuality after cancer. The clinic specializes in group psychotherapy and offers numerous group options for clients to work on the development of interpersonal skills. The clinic is contracted with the Department of Corrections and provides sex offender treatment. Our therapists are highly trained to obtain excellence in professional standards and ethics and have expertise, advanced training in a variety of modalities, certification in working with couples, trauma-focused care, and sexual health.

Kimberly Keiser & Associates, LLC is offering a unique opportunity for a professional working in the capacity of a licensed psychologist (LP), counselor (LPC or LPC-MH), or marriage and family therapist (LMFT) to provide general mental health counseling and psychotherapy. You will be provided ongoing professional training and development and a steady caseload of intellectually stimulating clientele. Kimberly is a South Dakota Counselor Board approved clinical supervisor and an AASECT certified sex therapist supervisor. You will have the opportunity to participate in small group case consultations and individual supervision towards advanced licensure as requested. Therapists are encouraged and supported in the development of their unique clinical interests.

Qualifications Include:

  • Be licensed in South Dakota as a Ph.D., Psy.D., LPC, LPC-MH, or LMFT
  • Completion of degree and all post-degree supervision for licensure. Prefer at least two years of post-degree experience in working with adolescents and adults with mental health issues, but not required.
  • Give evidence of/or be willing to undergo training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy
  • Have prior training – or be willing to train in – Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Have some experience working with developmental trauma, PTSD, and trauma focused therapies, and be familiar with – or willing to train in – treatment modalities for addressing trauma symptoms, e.g. EMDR and Polyvagal theory
