Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Pay:
- Licensed Practical Nurse: $27 – $32 per hour.
Starting pay is based on Bethany’s established wage scale and credited years of relevant experience. Shift and weekend differentials provide additional pay.
Shifts available:
- Days: 6 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Overnights: 6 p.m.–6 a.m.
Full-time position available. Every other weekend is required.
Bethany Home Brandon is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to care for residents in our skilled nursing community. You’ll provide nursing care, administer medications and treatments, and work with the nursing team to meet residents’ needs and preferences.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care according to resident care plans and provider orders.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes or concerns to the appropriate RN or provider.
- Assist with resident assessments and contribute to developing and updating care plans.
- Supervise and support nursing assistants and medication aides within the LPN’s scope of practice and facility procedures.
- Accurately document medications, treatments, and the care provided.
- Communicate with residents, families, providers, and coworkers to support consistent care.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Respect each resident’s privacy, dignity, independence, and personal preferences.
Qualifications
- Current LPN license or authorization to practice as an LPN in South Dakota.
- Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and sound nursing judgment.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and respond to changing resident needs.
- Patience, dependability, and an interest in caring for older adults.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work every other weekend and the shift for which you are hired.
