Job Title: Life Enrichment Coordinator
Location: Bethany Meadows in Brandon, SD.
Hours: 8am-5pm (Full-time)
Job Summary: As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents at Bethany Meadows. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, organize, and facilitate a wide range of activities and programs that promote social, emotional, and physical well-being among residents. You’ll work closely with residents, their families, and other staff members to create a vibrant and engaging environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Create a warm social atmosphere in the nursing facility.
- Maintain records of participation and evaluate the effectiveness of programs.
- Foster a sense of community and encourage social interaction among participants.
- Plan entertainment and arrange supplies and transportation for activities, maintaining records and facilitating group and individual engagements.
- Build community relationships in line with the Bethany mission.
Qualifications:
- Motivated with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working with older adults.
- Qualified in activities coordination or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent computer skills.
