POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide onsite therapeutic services to individuals and/or groups. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, and will work collaboratively with clients to support their mental health and emotional well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to client care, confidentiality, and ethical practice.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions onsite.
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and legal standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, medical professionals, and other therapists.
- Participate in case consultations, staff meetings, and ongoing training.
- Respond to mental health crises and provide appropriate interventions.
- Educate clients and families on mental health conditions and coping strategies.
- Provide referral services for clients when necessary.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with referral sources in the community.
- Assist with the development of new programming as requested.
- Ensure consistent and ongoing communication with immediate supervisor for program monitoring purposes.
- Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings and staff training.
Responsible to carry out other duties as assigned to support program operations and goals.
POSITIONS QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related human service field and a minimum of two years related work experience preferred
Experience: Expertise in case management, counseling, and effective therapeutic techniques required (CBT, DBT, EMDR, TF-CBT, etc.)
Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Certifications & Licenses: Must have LPC, LPC-MH, LCSW, MSW-PIP, or LMFT licensure
Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. May involve occasional travel between locations. Requires the ability to sit for extended periods and engage in active listening and communication.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
A. Ability to Stand, Walk, sit, manually manipulate, reach outward and above shoulders, speak, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend on a daily basis
B. Capability to Lift, carry, push or pull up to 25 lbs on a daily basis
