GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Logistics Coordinator position with Wurth Electronics Midcom Inc. would involve overseeing and managing the logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely movement of goods. The role typically includes coordinating shipping, receiving, and distribution processes, developing logistics strategies, and
collaborating with international suppliers and freight forwarders.


The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, maintaining accurate documentation, and analyzing logistics data to identify areas for improvement.


Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in logistics software and a solid understanding of international shipping regulations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
?Coordinate and oversee global logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and distribution processes.
?Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
?Understand FTZ operations and be prepared to answer logistical questions regarding FTZ movement of goods.
?Collaborate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely transportation of goods.
?Assist SCMs and sales with rates for ad hoc shipments, this includes but is not limited to domestic small parcel and LTL shipments, global small parcel, LTL, and LCL/FCL shipments.
?Maintain quarterly and annual rate estimators with respective global carriers.
?Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues that may arise during transit. This includes monitoring exceptions with Fedex and UPS partners and assisting as needed to resolve delays.
?Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
?Manage all regulations related to CARM.
?Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all logistics activities.
?Partner with Logistics Billing to ensure correct and accurate invoicing of shipments. Assist with billing related questions.
?Submit, monitor, and take action on claims with freight forwarders.
?Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
?Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to facilitate seamless logistics operations.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
?Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent job experience.
?Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a global context.
?Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
?Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
?Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
?Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
?Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
