Position Summary

West Point Ford & Chevy is seeking a motivated and dependable Lube & Tire Technician to join our service team. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the automotive industry while working in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with a team while delivering high-quality service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, fluid services, and preventive maintenance inspections
• Mount, balance, and rotate tires
• Inspect brakes, suspension, steering, and tire wear conditions
• Maintain accurate repair orders and inspection documentation
• Keep shop areas clean and organized
• Assist service technicians with general shop duties as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and management regarding vehicle conditions

Qualifications

• Automotive or mechanical experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a shop environment
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays
