GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

Design and develop magnetics, utilizing knowledge of electronic theory, materials properties and construction techniques, to support the custom requirements of IC developers and direct customers. Support production and maintain document history and control throughout the lifecycle of the product. Develop technical documentation and provide technical support to sales staff, production staff and customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Global Engineering teams to design power magnetics (transformer and inductors) for customers developing new technologies in up-and-coming markets such as E-mobility, green energy, wireless power transmission, satellite communication and more!
  • Work directly with experienced Design Engineers, Lab Technicians and Design for Manufacturing Experts to create and support customized products through the development and production life cycle.
  • Learn and design within global safety agency standards and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Develop and optimize design tools for a global Design Engineering team.
  • Opportunity to travel world-wide to learn manufacturing techniques and automation capabilities to optimize product design.
