Job Description
As a Building Maintenance Specialist, you’ll be an integral part of our community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Work Orders: Tackling minor plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and appliance repairs. You’ll be the go-to person for fixing things efficiently.
- Apartment Prep: Getting apartments ready for new tenants. Your attention to detail will make our spaces shine!
- Seasonal Tasks: From window washing to lawn maintenance and snow removal, you’ll keep our property looking its best year-round.
- Van Driver: Safely operating our 14-passenger van. You’ll be the friendly face transporting residents.
- Grounds Upkeep: General maintenance of the building and surrounding grounds. A tidy environment is essential for everyone’s well-being.
Job Requirements
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience: Whether through training or hands-on work, familiarity with building maintenance and repairs is crucial.
- Independence: You’ll work autonomously, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Physical Agility: Walking, bending, stooping, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and climbing are part of your daily routine.
- Navigational Skills: Move independently throughout our complex, knowing every nook and cranny.
- Literacy: Reading and comprehending manuals, operating procedures, and guidelines is essential.
