Avera is now hiring a Maintenance Technician II for maintenance duties!

Job Summary
- Operates, installs, services and maintains mechanical and electrical systems, equipment and fixtures and other devices.
Education and/or Experience
- High school plus trade or vocational school is desirable.
- 2-5 years prior experience with mechanical systems, boiler operation, Plumbing, Electrical and Computer systems required.
- Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions.
- Training in the operation and maintenance of medical center related mechanical and electrical equipment and systems is advantageous.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
- South Dakota boilers license is desirable but not required.
- Willing to obtain certification in the water treatment system.
- South Dakota boilers license is desirable but not required.
- This job position requires that you maintain a valid driver’s license, wear a seat belt and that you are insurable under Avera’s vehicle insurance policy.
Work Schedule
- Rotating Days/Evenings with occasional weekends; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Occasional holiday
- Occasional call time

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
