What We're Looking For
Depending on experience and strengths, responsibilities may include:
- Assisting customers, contractors, and builders with building material needs
- Preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating sales
- Overseeing daily store and lumberyard operations
- Managing employees, schedules, and workflow
- Helping with purchasing, inventory, and vendor coordination
- Handling day-to-day business processes, paperwork, and administrative responsibilities
- Building relationships with customers and helping grow the business
Qualifications
- Experience in management, sales, or business operations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to handle multiple responsibilities
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions
- Experience in the lumberyard, construction, or building materials industry is preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
While a background in construction or building materials is helpful, we're open to visiting with individuals from a variety of industries and professional backgrounds.
