Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Counterpart, Inc. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for applying continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing that will enhance the manufacturing quality, reliability and cost effectiveness for Counterpart, Inc.
Responsibilities
- Motivates the continuous improvement efforts of the organization by identifying opportunities and implementing changes that improve products and processes using knowledge of fabrication, tooling and equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials, and parts.
- Creates and evaluates Training Standards
- Review and Complete documented “Standard Work”
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Creates new methods and processes to improve existing operations or expand manufacturing capabilities.
- Communicates with the shop floor and supporting groups to advance company initiatives and excel at leading without authority.
- Measures manufacturing performance, analyze the data, and communicate the results throughout the organization.
- Leads part, process, and equipment issue resolution using root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
- Provides technical expertise and support to the organization relating to manufacturing processes and capabilities.
- Supports the organization in the implementation and use of statistical process control to measure and control the performance of key equipment and processes.
- Manages complex projects from concept through implementation to maximize project resources.
- Forms and maintains work instructions and labor standards for new and existing processes.
