Position Overview
The Marketing Research Intern will support the Project Management and Sales teams with market research which will help in the identification, development and support of product solutions for our existing catalog. This internship is heavily focused on marketing support, market research, and data analysis, helping translate market insights into technical product concepts and customer-focused solutions.
The intern will play a key role in researching markets, applications, and customer needs while supporting project managers in coordinating efforts across engineering, programming, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends, customer needs, product needs and application opportunities
- Support marketing-focused analysis to help position existing products for new markets or use cases
- Assist project managers with documentation, timelines, and research related to product development initiatives
- Analyze customer, industry, and sales data to support new product concepts and marketing strategies
- Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations for both technical and marketing audiences
- Collaborate with engineering, programming, and marketing teams to align market insights with technical feasibility
- Maintain organized project and research documentation
- Participate in project and planning meetings, providing updates on assigned research and analysis tasks
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Strong interest in marketing strategy, market research, and product positioning
- Ability to analyze data and clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM or analytics tools is a plus
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
