For more than 75 years, Egger Steel Company has been a trusted structural steel fabricator serving building and bridge markets across the Upper Midwest. We're looking for a dependable Material Handler to join our shop team — someone who takes pride in keeping material moving safely and efficiently so our fabrication crews can do their best work.
This is a hands-on, physically active role that combines equipment operation, teamwork, and pride in producing quality work — with real opportunities to grow your career with us.
What You'll Do
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Move material between shop areas to keep production on schedule
Operate an overhead hoist and other material-handling equipment
Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Follow all safety procedures and support a clean, organized shop
What We're Looking For
Ability to work outdoors and lift/move material using an overhead crane as part of daily duties
Comfort operating an overhead hoist (training provided)
Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work well as part of a team
Willingness to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and shop physical

Compensation
$22.00 per hour, based on experience — plus bonus pay
