Materials Associate | Electronic Systems Inc. (ESI) | Sioux Falls, SD | Full Time | 3pm – 1:30am

As a Materials Associate, you play a critical role in supporting production by ensuring materials are accurate, available, and properly tracked. Your work directly impacts our ability to meet customer commitments and maintain a safe, organized operation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Count, stage, and issue materials for production jobs using our scheduling system.
- Fill material requisitions and accurately enter item numbers and quantities into our Business Management Software System.
- Receive incoming materials, tag product, and place items into stock.
- Restock overages from completed jobs and transfer materials as needed.
- Communicate with buyers and production teams regarding part shortages.
- Issue materials listed on shortage sheets when items are received.
- Ship outgoing products using customer selected carriers and print shipping labels as required.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe stock and storage areas.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Willingness to become forklift certified.
- Ability to legally drive company vehicles with a valid South Dakota driver’s license and current auto insurance.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with business or inventory software systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Dependable attendance and a positive, team focused attitude.
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is active and hands on. You will spend time standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the day. Forklift operation and driving company vehicles may be required. Proper PPE is required in designated areas, in accordance with ESI Safety Policy and OSHA standards.

SCHEDULE & PAY
- Full-time, on-site.
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
- 3pm – 1:30am, Monday – Thursday
- Occasional Overtime Fridays 3pm – 8:30pm
