As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team.

We’re looking for a Mechanic/Shop Foreman who thrives in a hands-on environment and can keep our fleet of construction equipment and vehicles running strong. This role is perfect for someone who’s not only mechanically inclined but also known for being a true handyman—a jack-of-all-trades who can handle whatever comes their way.
Hours: A typical workday is Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 4:30PM, actual working hours and days may vary due to project deadlines; May require weekend or evening work at times.
Compensation: Starting at $30.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on construction equipment, vehicles, trailers, and small engines
- Conduct monthly inspections to ensure everything is safe, compliant, and job-ready
- Keep accurate maintenance and repair logs for all equipment
- Troubleshoot and respond to on-site breakdowns, including mobile repair calls
- Manage shop inventory—order parts, tools, and materials as needed
- Identify issues and come up with creative, cost-effective solutions
- Keep the shop organized, safe, and running efficiently
- Weld, fabricate, and assist with other general repairs as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED (technical training or certifications are a big plus)
- 3+ years of experience as a mechanic in construction or heavy equipment
- Skilled with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics
- Comfortable reading service manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
- Able to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in all seasons
- Welding and light fabrication skills
- Independent, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership of the shop
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Have experience maintaining skid steers, telehandlers, trailers, and trucks
- Can fix almost anything and enjoy doing it
