Hiring: Mental Health & Addictions Counselor
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Therapist will provide outpatient therapy for individuals, couples and families. They shall address mental health, addictions, and co-occurring issues and develop treatment recovery programs based on treatment plans to aid and direct clients in developing an understanding of identified problems and creating progress toward mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
REQUIREMENTS
- Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and eligible for Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health (LPC-MH) as approved by the South Dakota Board of Counselor Examiners (SDBCE&MFT) or Certified Social Worker in Private or Independent Practice (CSW-PIP)
- Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) or eligible for Addiction Counselor Trainee (ACT) as approved by the South Dakota Board of Addiction and Prevention Professionals (SDBAPP)
