Join Our Team as a Middle School ISS Monitor!

Are you passionate about working with middle school students and ensuring a positive learning environment? St. Francis Indian School, also known as Sicangu Oyate Ho Inc., is currently seeking a dedicated Middle School ISS Monitor to join our team in St. Francis, SD.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise students assigned to In-School Suspension (ISS) to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
• Manage student behavior and enforce school policies in a fair and consistent manner.
• Provide support and guidance to students to help them learn from their mistakes and make positive choices.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs and promote academic success.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic progress in ISS.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with middle school students in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
• Understanding of restorative practices and positive behavior interventions.
• Passion for supporting students' social, emotional, and academic growth.
