Avera is now hiring a Blood Bank Mobile Unit Driver.

Job Summary
A Mobile Unit Driver is responsible for transport of bloodmobile to and from mobile site, minor maintenance and repair of vehicle, inventory and resupply of consumables, cleaning of mobile before, during and after blood drives and assisting with registration and processing of donors as directed by the Mobile Unit Supervisor.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS
- Class B Commercial Driver's License is required.
- Successful completion of a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening is required.
- Air Brake Certification required within 30 days of employment.
Work Schedule
- PRN - work as needed to fill in for others
- Shifts are primarily Monday - Friday; occasional weekends
- Start times as early as 5:00 am; 8-10 hour shifts; 1-2 shifts per week

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
