What you will do

The Motor Fuel Revenue Agent will be responsible for the tax collection, support and education to customers in the motor fuel industry. The agent will assist new businesses in becoming properly licensed and provide training on motor fuel laws, regulations and tax filing requirements. Compliance of filing returns, license reviews, taxpayer assistance, Heavy Vehicle Use Tax, Driver Protection Policy requests and various other duties comprise the workday of a motor fuel revenue agent. Some travel may be required with this position.

What you need

The ideal candidate will have:

  • experience working in collaborative team environments and demonstrating effective time management and organizational skills;
  • high attention to detail;
  • verbal and written communication abilities including spelling, punctuation, and grammar;
  • customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively in fast paced environment;
  • advanced use of the Microsoft Office Suite software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); and
  • ability to interpret information, laws, and policies and communicate effectively.
