Job Description
Provide office support to Pastors, church leadership and staff, plus members of Session, teams, committees and the congregation. Provide phone, email, written communication as assigned. Ensure timely completion of daily, weekly and monthly publications as assigned. As the initial point of contact to visitors, promote a welcoming environment, provide assistance or direct inquiries and comments to appropriate individuals or groups.
Essential Responsibilities: General office duties, oversee clerical tasks to be completed by volunteers. Accomplish basic accounting and financial tasks such as entering invoices and hours. Record- keeping such as membership database, church- wide calendar, contact lists and mailings. Website and social media- monitor and post, work with staff and church leadership to post pertinent information.
