This role is critical to maintaining efficient office operations while also supporting marketing efforts and managing Black Tie’s social media presence. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and takes pride in keeping both operations and communication running smoothly.
Purpose of Position
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations, supporting accounting and HR functions, maintaining internal systems, and assisting with marketing initiatives. This role also manages Black Tie’s social media accounts and helps ensure consistent, professional communication across platforms.
Essential Functions
- Manage daily office operations and administrative workflows
- Support accounting, payroll, HR, and benefits administration
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation
- Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and internal communication
- Assist leadership with reporting, follow-ups, and organization
- Manage office vendors, supplies, and purchasing
- Assist with basic marketing initiatives and internal communications
- Manage and schedule posts for the company social media accounts
- Coordinate with leadership to capture and share company updates, milestones, and culture content
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across social platforms
- Keep an organized and efficient office and communication environment
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
- Proficiency with office software, spreadsheets, and internal systems
- Comfortable using social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) in a professional setting
- Basic understanding of marketing, branding, and content coordination
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience and Education Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of office management or administrative experience
- Experience supporting marketing or managing social media accounts preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred
- Must pass background check
