This is a Full-Time 40 Hours Weekly position with the Department of Health's Finance and Operations Division.

This position directs and participates in office support work by assigning and scheduling work, prioritizing office needs, acting as a liaison between clerical support staff and professional staff, and overseeing the day-to-day work of clerical support staff to maintain the functions of an office, program, or activity.
1. Distributes work to clerical support staff to ensure work is completed timely, accurately, and efficiently
2. Prioritizes tasks to adapt to changing deadlines or peak workloads.
3. Aids in the development and enforcement of office and/or program policies and procedures to ensure uniformity and compliance with activity or program requirements.
4. Supervises clerical support staff to ensure day to day operations of the office and/or programs are maintained.
5. Assists with program functions to support the department.
6. Performs other work as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience with secretarial and administrative support duties. This position requires the ability to prioritize and successfully complete multiple projects at one time, often with interruptions and directional changes due to needs within the organization.
Knowledge of:
- computers and a variety of programs including Microsoft Office Suite software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access) as well as specialized programs within the Department;
- interviewing techniques;
- de-escalation techniques;
- office procedures;
- computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite;
- record keeping procedures; and
- policies, procedures, activities, and programs applicable to the office.
