Ellsworth AFB/Box Elder, SD | Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Sentinel Federal Credit Union is hiring a collaborative and solutions-focused Operations Manager to join our team. This role works closely with senior leadership and department managers to support and coordinate operational functions across the Credit Union, ensuring processes are efficient, consistent, and aligned with organizational goals.

This is a newly designed position, offering a unique opportunity to be an active participant in shaping and refining how the role evolves within our organization. You’ll have the ability to contribute ideas, improve processes, and help define what operational excellence looks like at Sentinel.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and support daily operational functions across multiple departments, including branch operations, the Contact Center, and technology service

  • Work closely with senior leadership and department managers to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and support operational initiatives

  • Monitor operational processes, identify areas for improvement, and help implement solutions that enhance accuracy and service quality

  • Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of operational policies and procedures

  • Support system updates, operational reporting, and performance tracking to ensure alignment with organizational goals

  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to troubleshoot issues and provide practical, solution-focused support

  • Assist with vendor relationships, service contracts, and operational resources as needed

  • Ensure compliance with Credit Union policies, procedures, and applicable regulations while maintaining confidentiality


Who You Are

  • At least 18 years of age required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required

  • Prior supervisory, managerial, or leadership experience required

  • 5 years of direct operations management or equivalent experience in a CU environment required

  • Valid driver’s license preferred.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday (varies), 7:30am-5:30pm
