Job Description
Peters Distributing a local cell phone accessory distributor is affiliated with Safe-N-Secure.
Wages start at $14 per hour depending on experience - with a potential raise after 90 days.
Flexible hours - 12-20 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9-5)
Eventual Fulltime transition is a distinct possibility for those so motivated
Casual work environment
Position Purpose
- To assist the Warehouse Administrator in keeping inventory prepped and ready for shipping and order fulfillment
- To help fill and send orders
- Make courtesy calls to existing dealers.
- Complete other tasks as they are assigned.
Responsibilities
Package individual products in a timely manner with consistent results in the appearance of the final product.
Pack “Display Kits” for new dealers
Fill, invoice and send orders
Assist in keeping inventory levels above the minimum so orders can be fulfilled in a timely manner.
Make courtesy/sales calls to existing dealers
Qualifications and Requirements
- Have the ability to stand while packaging products
- Have the ability to lift at least 35 pounds
- Basic computer knowledge a must (including QuickBooks)
- Ability to problem solve
