A-OX is looking to expand their Transport Department. The right candidate will be utilizing the latest technology, we are busy all year round so no downtime. We offer pay as mileage + Drop bonuses. Drivers are home most nights. We provide Clean newer Tractors and equipment, along with safety gear needed to perform the fills at customer sites. Yearly pay as much as 90,000.00 yr with experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and transport liquid gases to customers and A-OX fill plant for production needs. Will also transport finished product to our other locations for sales and delivery.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance pre and post trip.
• Meet delivery schedules
• Will have sign in to log miles ran through the ELS system (we provide the tablet and tracking in the fleet)
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Valid truck driving license' must have a Class A license with Hazmat, Tanker and air brake endorsments
