POSITION SUMMARY
The Outpatient Admissions Specialist will have the responsibility of assisting with all outpatient behavioral health admissions and communications within programming. This also includes scheduling and completing intakes and communications with referral sources, and other assigned duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S)
Primary Duties
A. Coordinate all program referrals and admissions, including verification of funding and insurance coverage.
B. Ensure the completion of all required pre-admission and admission documents.
C. Initiate positive, timely, pro-active communication with clients and referral resources via phone and email.
D. Work cooperatively with local, state and federal resources to establish, maintain and enhance program utilization, referral and networking to meet needs of clients.
E. Aid in the development of new and/or refined program data collection and outcome evaluation.
F. Assist with clerical duties and administrative project as needed.
Responsible for other duties as assigned.
POSITIONS QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED.
Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized and detail oriented, and knowledge of Excel.
Certifications & Licenses: Valid driver's license and possess reliable transportation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
A. Ability to Stand, Walk, sit, manually manipulate, reach outward and above shoulders, speak, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend on a daily basis
B. Capability to Lift, carry, push or pull up to 25 lbs on a daily basis
