Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Outpatient Mental Health Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to individuals with a range of mental health diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a client base through marketing professional services with the support of Family Service Inc.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
- Provide individual, couple, group, and/or family therapy sessions to clients.
- Monitor and document client progress.
- Stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health.
- Be an active participant in the clinical team.
- Be willing to provide therapy services via Telehealth when appropriate.
- Ensure consistent and ongoing communication with the Leadership Team.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and staff training.
- Maintains a high degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information.
- Flexible scheduling to meet the needs of clients served.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
Education and Experience
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- State licensure as a psychologist and adherence to all relevant ethical guidelines and regulations.
- Experience in providing outpatient mental health services preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
