Key Responsibilities

Provide survivor-centered case management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients and provide responsive support
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and intakes with a focus on safety, confidentiality, and survivor autonomy
  • Develop individualized case management goals and plans with youth and adult clients
  • Maintain accurate case notes and documentation within the client database

Connect survivors to critical resources

  • Coordinate referrals and services through community partners
  • Provide transportation when appropriate using a personal or agency vehicle
  • Work alongside the Call to Freedom care team to provide holistic services including housing, emergency support, mentorship, and recovery resources

Build partnerships that expand survivor support

  • Collaborate with shelters, halfway houses, schools, correctional facilities, and rural response teams
  • Serve as a liaison between Call to Freedom and partner organizations referring cases
  • Coordinate services for newly identified victims both locally and nationally

Strengthen community response to trafficking

  • Provide education and training to service providers and community partners
  • Participate in collaborative care meetings and community response teams
  • Assist in implementing prevention education in the community

Support coordinated care

  • Work closely with the Director of Marissa’s House & Outreach Services to manage intake referrals
  • Assist with case navigation and service coordination for clients across the country
  • Travel as needed to meet with partners and response teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred
  • Experience in case management with victims of violence, trafficking, trauma, or substance abuse
  • Training or familiarity with trauma-informed care
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities
  • Self-directed, flexible, and able to collaborate effectively within a team environment

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain motor vehicle insurance
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, including possible overnight trips
  • Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling, including occasional evenings or weekends
  • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
