Packing and Shipping Supervisor

Nordica Warehouses is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Packing & Shipping Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and leads by example.
The job is located at our Downtown Facility at: 801 S. 6th Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104. This is a full-time position with the hours of Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm. The pay range for this position is $18.50-$24 an hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately pick, pack, and verify customer orders
Ship orders Via UPS, FedEx, Speedy or LTL
Perform data entry (letters and numbers) with extreme accuracy
Maintain and update spreadsheets using Excel
Oversee and assist with inventory control processes
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow verbal instructions and communicate clearly with team members
Adapt quickly to changing job assignments and priorities
Work independently or collaboratively with the team
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
Lift up to 40 lbs. regularly
Operating a Pallet Jack/forklift
Throw 30 lb. cases above head height when required
Qualifications
Good attendance history is a must
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent time management skills
Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated with the ability to work alone or with others
Comfortable working with a wide variety of personalities
Working knowledge of inventory control
Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping systems preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
Ability to learn new computer software
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software
