REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION LEVEL:Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field, working toward eligibility for Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credentialing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES- Manage and maintain special diets within the school district - work with families, Health Services and Coordinator Child Nutrition
- Update menus as necessary, providing necessary substitutions with product changes, communicating to staff involved with preparation and meal service.
- Update production records
- Maintain nutritional data base to include allergens in products
- Daily communication with schools regarding portion sizes for meals being served
- Assist with site reviews
- Assist with planning caterings
- Other duties as assigned
PAY INFORMATIONLevel DX, starting at $20.00 per hour
Pay Day: Last working day of each month.
