Painting Operations/Project Manager

Job Description

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily labor force scheduling, logistics, and crew dispatch.
  • Oversee inventory, shop organization, and vehicle/equipment maintenance.
  • Provide, track, and analyze estimates for new projects.
  • Report daily to ownership regarding project progress and operational bottlenecks.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Manage commercial/residential projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients for scope, changes, and final walkthroughs.
  • Conduct site visits to enforce quality control, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Review and approve project-related documentation, including change orders and contracts.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules and, in some roles, perform 10-15% of painting tasks.

  • Requirements:
  • Strong leadership, logistical planning, and problem-solving skills; experience in construction operations or painting industry preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, knowledge of painting techniques, and proficiency in project software.
