Correctional Medical Management is passionate about positively changing and impacting healthcare for the good of our clients in correctional facilities. Our locally owned company is seeking Paramedics to join our team at the Minnehaha County Jail. In this role you will provide patient education, preventative care and clinical care to incarcerated patients. You will work in a supportive and safe environment in collaboration with correctional officers to provide quality healthcare to an underserved population. This position will allow you to diversify your healthcare career! Currently hiring for Full-Time Nights.

Responsibilities:
- Perform direct patient care duties under the direction of the Medical Director
- Medication administration
- Perform assessments and provide healthcare education
- Emergency response
- Prepare and maintain records, charts and reports
- Manage acute and chronic health conditions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
- Ensure all medical protocols are followed
- Evaluate client behaviors, symptoms, and effects or medications/treatments
- Perform blood draws
- Administer and read PPD
- Assist with examinations and/or treatments
- Obtain diagnostic tests
- Establish and maintain effective and professional relationships with patients, staff and the public

Requirements:
- Minimum one year of experience as a Paramedic
- Current Paramedic Certification in State of South Dakota
- Current CPR Certification
