Job Summary

The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Sanitary Landfill is accepting applications for a part-time Litter Technician. This is a part-time, non-benefitted position working up to 28 hours per week. Hours are flexible to work a Monday through Friday, up to 28 hours per week.

Responsibilities will include picking litter by hand, with tools, and powered equipment as directed by landfill lead operators and management. Work areas will be around the landfill site and on major haul routes (streets and highways) to the landfill.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualified candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, steel-toed boots and will need to be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
