Job Description

$18.12 per hour

The City of Sioux Falls Health Department is seeking part-time Patient Support Technicians to provide customer service to patients. This is a part-time, non-benefitted position that will work up to 28 hours per week based on clinic needs. Duties include the ability to schedule, confirm, and register patients for clinic appointments, both in person and over the phone. Verify financial eligibility, third party coverage, collect payments, and answer questions regarding billing. Work closely with clinical teams as directed. Scan and maintain patient medical records, and arrange patient transportation and coordinate access to care and disease prevention.

-One Position Available with Falls Community Health Clinic
-One Position Available with Falls Community Health Dental Clinic

Qualifications and Skills:
Well qualified candidates will have experience with customer service duties at the front desk in a health clinic environment and familiarity with an EMR system.
